Job Description
The Project/Program Manager IV is responsible for coordinating and completing projects and programs from inception to completion. This role oversees all aspects, including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress. The position requires preparing comprehensive reports for upper management regarding the status of projects or programs.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate and complete projects and programs.
+ Oversee all project aspects, including setting deadlines and assigning responsibilities.
+ Monitor and summarize project progress.
+ Prepare status reports for upper management.
+ Lead and direct the work of team members.
+ Ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
+ Collaborate with teams for project coordination, budget management, scheduling, and material handling.
+ Hold vendors accountable and manage third-party vendor communications.
+ Identify and address gaps in standards.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
+ At least 7 years of experience in project or program management.
+ Proficiency in project management and vendor management.
+ Experience with automation and material handling equipment (MHE).
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Experience working in operational warehouses.
+ Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3-5 years of relevant experience in Engineering.
+ 3-5 years of project management experience.
+ PMP certification.
+ Quick learner who insists on the highest standards.
+ Ability to earn trust and maintain integrity.
Work Environment
The role involves 100% travel to work site locations, collaborating with a regional team to complete multiple automation installation projects. The work environment requires heavy tracking, project management, technology utilization, and effective communication.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Syosset, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
