    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing product specifications, determining feasible designs, and preparing detailed layouts and schematics. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a small team with a strong culture and potential for conversion to a full-time role based on performance.

    Responsibilities

    + Analyze product or equipment specifications and performance requirements.

    + Determine designs that can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.

    + Provide technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, and properties.

    + Prepare product or system layout and detailed drawings and schematics.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in design, fabrication, and manufacturing.

    + Advanced computer skills with design software (CAD) and Microsoft Office.

    + 3D CAD experience required, SolidWorks strongly preferred.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Associate's degree preferred.

    + Experience with CADKEY software is a plus.

    + Knowledge of Weld Symbols and their use in CAD.

    + ERP experience, especially with Made2Manage, is advantageous.

    + Experience working with steel is a plus.

    + Ability to interpret electrical and technical specifications.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Cornelius, OR.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
