    Mechanical DrafterOverview

     

    The Mechanical Drafter is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models for mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks. This role supports engineering teams in a configuration-managed environment and ensures compliance with project standards and specifications.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Develop and revise mechanical drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.

    + Maintain accurate documentation within a configuration-managed system.

    + Collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy and adherence to design specifications.

    + Participate in design reviews and implement required changes.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    + Early to mid-career experience in mechanical drafting

    + Proficiency in SolidWorks

    + Experience working in a configuration-managed environment

    Preferred:

    + Prior experience as a DoD contractor

    + Familiarity with SolidWorks Vault

    + Experience with Costpoint and Jira

    This is a Contract position based out of Pocasset, MA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00/hr.
