    We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer to join our team and ensure adherence to quality and reliability standards across all program activities. This role serves as a key liaison between departments and acts as the primary point of contact for product assurance elements.

     

    The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with electronic components, and a solid understanding of quality systems and compliance standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Serve as the single point of contact for Program Teams on all product assurance activities.

    + Track program budgets and define work scope for assigned team members.

    + Support proposals for new projects and communicate requirements to the team.

    + Develop and implement quality procedures and maintain monthly program status reports.

    + Establish and collect data for metrics reporting; analyze results for adverse trends.

    + Prepare and present status reports to management and customers.

    + Generate and track responses to internal and supplier Corrective Action Requests (CARs).

    + Perform detailed contract reviews to determine quality assurance requirements.

    + Communicate effectively with personnel at all levels to address technical and management issues.

    + Occasional overnight travel may be required.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial or Mechanical).

    + 2+ years of related experience in quality engineering.

    + Proficiency in:

    + CAPA

    + Audit & Root Cause Analysis

    + Quality Control

    + AS9100 & ISO 9001 compliance

    + Hands-on experience with testing and troubleshooting electronic components using oscilloscopes and multimeters.

    Preferred Skills:

    + Quality Assurance

    + Corrective Action Plans

    + Quality Management Systems

    Work Environment:

    + Primarily on the manufacturing floor with access to benches and testing chambers.

    + Collaborative environment with training and support from leads and supervisors.

    + 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off).

    + Bi-weekly pay cycle.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    Salary Range: $80,000 – $95,000 (based on experience and qualifications).

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
