• Lead Project Engineer

    We are seeking a Project Engineer to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in the development of advanced systems and technologies. This role supports complex programs involving system design, integration, testing, and performance verification across mission-critical applications.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead engineering planning and execution across design, development, integration, and verification phases.

    + Manage cross-functional teams, including internal staff and subcontractors, to meet technical, schedule, and budget goals.

    + Coordinate with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.

    + Drive systems engineering processes and lead milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).

    + Support development of technical documentation, specifications, and interface control documents.

    + Oversee engineering inputs to program schedules and resource planning.

    + Represent engineering efforts in customer meetings, internal reviews, and proposal development.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.

    + 6+ years of experience in engineering project execution within space, defense, or aerospace domains.

    + Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, requirements flow-down, and verification/validation processes.

    + Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers in complex development efforts.

    + Familiarity with PLM tools (e.g., Windchill), requirements management systems, and DoD lifecycle planning.

    + Excellent communication, organizational, and technical presentation skills.

    + Active DoD Secret Clearance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior experience with DoD or government programs strongly preferred.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Acton, MA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $230000.00/yr.
