    Mechanical Drafter (Solidworks) – Cutting‑Edge Maritime Systems

     

    Are you a detail‑driven Mechanical Drafter who thrives on bringing complex engineering concepts to life? You’ll collaborate with talented engineers, create high‑quality models and drawings in SolidWorks, and support breakthrough technologies used in advanced maritime platforms.

    What You’ll Do

    + Develop and update detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models in SolidWorks.

    + Support engineering teams in a configuration‑managed environment with precise and well‑organized documentation.

    + Work closely with engineers to ensure accuracy, manufacturability, and adherence to project standards.

    + Participate in design reviews and implement updates as new requirements emerge.

    What You Bring

    + Early to mid‑career experience in mechanical drafting.

    + Strong proficiency with SolidWorks (3D modeling & drafting).

    + Experience working within configuration‑controlled engineering workflows.

    + Solid grasp of GD&T and mechanical design fundamentals.

    Bonus Points For

    + Experience as a DoD contractor or supporting defense‑related engineering programs.

    + Familiarity with SolidWorks Vault.

    + Experience using Costpoint and Jira

    This is a Contract position based out of Pocasset, MA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00/hr.
