The Laboratory Support Technician will work alongside laboratory personnel, assisting them with various tasks necessary for efficient laboratory operations. This role involves cleaning glassware, managing waste, maintaining inventory, performing daily calibration of balances, and maintaining equipment. The technician will also prepare standard areas for scientists and assist analysts with tasks such as gathering materials, labeling glassware, preparing solutions, and disposing of solutions. Additionally, the technician will take inventory of chemicals and conduct monthly checks for the expiration of chemicals and reagents.
Responsibilities
+ Assist laboratory personnel with cleaning and managing glassware.
+ Perform waste management and maintain laboratory inventory.
+ Conduct daily calibration of balances and maintain laboratory equipment.
+ Prepare laboratory areas as needed for scientific work.
+ Support analysts by gathering materials, labeling glassware, preparing solutions, and disposing of solutions.
+ Perform inventory checks and monthly expiration checks of chemicals and reagents.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in laboratory work, particularly with glassware, chemistry, and biology.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ AS or BS Degree in the Sciences or a High School Diploma with experience in a laboratory setting.
Work Environment
The technician will work within both an office environment and a laboratory in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 am onward, with some flexibility if needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Germantown, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
