    We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer with over 5 years of experience in vertical construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for the structural engineering design of projects assigned by the Project Manager. This role includes attending client and internal meetings, managing schedules and budgets, and reviewing shop drawings and submittals during the project construction phase. The position also involves analyzing and designing steel, concrete, wood, masonry, and light-gauge structures. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Sketch Up, Visual Analysis, RAM Structural, FTP programs/utilities, and Procore is essential.

    Responsibilities

    + Design structural engineering projects as assigned by the Project Manager.

    + Attend client and internal meetings to discuss project progress.

    + Manage project schedules and budgets efficiently.

    + Review shop drawings and submittals during the construction phase.

    + Analyze and design structures made of steel, concrete, wood, masonry, and light-gauge materials.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.

    + 5+ years of experience in structural engineering.

    + Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.

    + Knowledge of Autodesk software.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Structural Engineer (S.E.) licensure is a plus.

    The role is based in a newly renovated office, offering a flexible schedule with in-office work.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glen Burnie, MD.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $52.88/hr.
