    Position Overview

    Join our dynamic team as a Distribution Electrical Designer, where you will play a key role in supporting utility projects throughout Nevada. This position involves designing and implementing upgrades to electrical infrastructure, including overhead-to-underground conversions, pole replacements, and substation tie-ins. Your expertise will help ensure the safe and efficient delivery of power across residential and commercial networks.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Design and support overhead-to-underground conversions for utility projects.

    + Execute deteriorated pole replacements, covered conductor installations, and cable replacements.

    + Perform tie-ins to substations to strengthen electrical infrastructure.

    + Utilize AutoCAD AUD for electrical distribution system design.

    + Conduct job site walks to verify design accuracy and compliance.

    + Collaborate on commercial and residential electrical projects.

    Qualifications

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD, specifically AUD.

    + Experience with overhead and/or underground distribution systems.

    + General computer literacy and familiarity with MS Suite.

    + Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and design practices.

    + Drafting, CAD, and utility design experience.

    + Ability to work on underground utilities and covered conductor projects.

    + Prior experience with NVE preferred.

    Additional Details

    + Testing Requirement: Candidates must complete a skills assessment between January 15–20 (approx. 4 hours).

    + Work Environment: Flexible options available:

    + Remote work for candidates with AUD experience.

    + On-site at our Las Vegas office for local projects.

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible hours (7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM).

    + Expect occasional overtime and long-term opportunities for growth.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Henderson, NV.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
