As an Industrial Engineer, you will analyze production workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. You will design and implement lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and value stream mapping, to enhance efficiency. Your role will involve developing time studies, work measurement systems, and labor standards to boost productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve bottlenecks and improve throughput. Additionally, you will evaluate and optimize plant layout, material flow, and workstation ergonomics, supporting new product introductions by designing efficient manufacturing processes and tooling requirements. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), generating reports, and leading root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for production inefficiencies are essential aspects of this role. You will ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all engineering activities, train and mentor production staff on process improvements and best practices, and manage engineering support for serial production lines. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing process control and optimization for finished goods assembly, packaging, and delivery readiness.
Responsibilities

+ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
+ Experience in metal fabrication and assembly lines
Work Environment
The role requires being on the floor a majority of the time, providing hands-on support and interaction with production processes. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, encouraging collaboration and innovation.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brillion, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
