Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. This role requires traveling to various drilling sites across the U.S. and internationally to install and maintain drill bit attachments for skid steers and excavators. You will be responsible for training onsite teams, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the safety and functionality of all machinery.

Responsibilities

+ Travel to drilling sites across the U.S. and internationally.

+ Install drill bit attachments for skid steers and excavators.

+ Train onsite drilling teams on safe operation and maintenance.

+ Assist clients with equipment issues and troubleshooting.

+ Inspect, repair, and maintain drilling equipment.

+ Provide phone support and onsite technical assistance.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical aptitude with experience in hydraulics and heavy equipment (preferred: 1+ year).

+ Proficiency with shop tools, mechanical troubleshooting, and repair skills (preferred: 1+ year).

+ Knowledge of heavy equipment operation, such as excavators and skid steers.

+ Electrical training or certification (basic or industrial) preferred.

+ OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with hydraulic systems: installation, troubleshooting, and repair.

+ Proficiency with shop tools: drill press, hydraulic press, hand tools.

+ Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and cross-cultural.

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

+ Physical readiness: ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently.

Work Environment

This role involves extensive travel, with up to 75% domestic and international travel required. When not traveling, an onsite presence is necessary. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

401(k) match: Dollar‑for‑dollar up to 6%

Travel expenses covered: $150/day lodging, $75/day meals
