Job Title:** **CNC Machinist / CNC Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team. The CNC Operator is responsible for performing all aspects of production machining required to produce quality products at an acceptable level of efficiency.
Responsibilities:
+ Operate and maintain vertical and horizontal CNC lathes and machining centers (primarily Okuma machines).
+ Work from blueprints to produce precision parts.
+ Maintain tools and gaging provided, ensuring proper care and maintenance.
+ Achieve a minimum of 80% production efficiency.
+ Ensure all material meets or exceeds quality requirements.
+ Maintain machine cleanliness and complete production control charts daily.
+ Support compliance with all quality policies and procedures.
Required Skills:
+ CNC machining (mills and lathes)
+ Machine setup and troubleshooting
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints
+ Use of precise measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

+ Smaller CNC shop of about 30 employees between two shifts.
+ 1st Shift: 5 am - 3:30 pm, Mon-Thurs. Possible Friday as needed

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dubuque, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.50/hr.
