    Job Title: CMT Technician / Inspector

    Job Description

    We are seeking a junior-level technician in the Lake Charles area to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within the construction materials testing industry. You will gain hands-on experience monitoring piles, logging piles, monitoring vibrations, classifying soils, and collecting materials for testing. This position involves closely following experienced technicians and engineers to better understand our company and the CMT industry.

    Responsibilities

    + Monitor and log piles.

    + Monitor vibrations and classify soils.

    + Collect materials for testing.

    + Follow and learn from experienced technicians and engineers.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with concrete and documentation processes.

    + Ability to perform inspections and monitoring.

    + Familiarity with construction materials testing.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Construction experience

    + Dependability and a positive attitude are essential.

    + Possession of a truck is a plus.

    + Clean DMV record required.

    + Successful completion of a hair follicle test.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sulphur, LA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00/hr.
