Job Title: Clean Room Assembler

Job Description

Join a leading electronic automotive manufacturer located in St. Charles, IL, specializing in the production and distribution of OEM electronic parts for major automotive brands. Be part of a team that crafts components like power window switches and push-to-start buttons in a state-of-the-art cleanroom environment, ensuring precision and quality in every piece.

Responsibilities

+ Operate automated machinery to ensure manufacturing procedures are executed correctly.

+ Make routine adjustments and set-ups of equipment for measurable variables such as length and temperature.

+ Load raw materials, monitor machine operations, and inspect completed parts to maintain job specifications.

+ Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift.

+ Keep accurate activity logs and notify supervisors of any issues or non-conforming products.

+ Support and participate in continuous improvement efforts and environmental policies.

+ Stand for the entirety of the 8-hour shift and handle materials weighing under fifteen pounds.

Essential Skills

+ 1 year of previous production, inspection, or machine operating experience.

+ Ability to read, write, and speak English.

+ Comfortable standing for 8 hours a day.

+ Familiarity with GMP environment and adherence to related protocols.

+ Proven track record of great attendance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1+ years of manufacturing operating experience.

+ Previous experience in the automotive industry.

+ Machine operating or assembly experience.

Work Environment

The St. Charles location boasts a 350,000 square-foot facility with around 250 employees. Work in a hospital-like production area adhering to GMP protocols, including wearing gowns and hairnets. The space is climate-controlled, clean, and organized, ensuring a comfortable and safe working environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr.
