    Job Title: Quality Supervisor

    Job Description

    As a Quality Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in refining the site quality management strategy to align with organizational goals. You will lead, mentor, and develop the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement while managing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure quality performance and drive improvements.

    Responsibilities

    + Improve the site quality management strategy in alignment with organizational goals.

    + Lead, mentor, and develop the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

    + Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure quality performance and drive improvements.

    + Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001 and applicable HVAC standards.

    + Coordinate internal and external audits and inspections to assess compliance and address non-conformance issues.

    + Maintain inspection and testing protocols for incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

    + Oversee quality processes and procedures to ensure conformance of the Mesa manufacturing site.

    + Recommend improvements in products, processes, services, and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency.

    + Analyze quality data and feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.

    + Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and optimize processes.

    + Collaborate with engineering, sales, and manufacturing to review and resolve quality-related issues, including equipment or design concerns.

    + Understand customer needs and requirements to maintain effective quality control processes.

    + Collaborate closely with customer service and sales teams to address complaints and feedback related to product quality.

    + Oversee customer satisfaction metrics and strategies to enhance trust in products.

    + Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and supply chain to improve product quality and reliability.

    + Ensure accurate documentation of quality processes, procedures, and results.

    + Help prepare and present quality reports, audits, and findings to management and key stakeholders.

    Essential Skills

    + Extensive experience in quality control, identifying and correcting defects in finished products through inspections and testing.

    + Strong experience in quality assurance, maintaining proactive processes aimed at preventing defects by managing the entire production process.

    + Proven ability in quality inspection, evaluating products or services to ensure they meet quality standards.

    + Examples and experience in continuous improvement, working to enhance the manufacturing process.

    + Experience and examples of implementing lean manufacturing to reduce waste and improve efficiency of manufacturing processes.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or similar is preferred.

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing sector, preferably in HVAC.

    + Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements.

    + Proven experience leading quality teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    + Effective communication and people skills to build alignment across teams.

    + Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to balance quality needs with operational requirements.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment includes the requirement to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and engage in physical activities such as standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching as needed. You must be able to climb portable ladders and use Personal Protection Equipment. Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are essential.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
