    Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description

     

    The General Production Worker encompasses four distinct roles: Mixing, Weeding, Auto-Calendaring, and Quality Check. Each role requires attention to detail and adherence to specific instructions to ensure the production of high-quality products.

    Responsibilities

    + Mixing: Primary responsibility is to mix colored inks to the proper specifications based on work instructions. This involves combining various compounds of colors and inks to achieve the desired final color and viscosity.

    + Weeding: Collaborate with production and machine operators to trim edges and remove scrap from finished prints.

    + Auto-Calendaring: Operate an automated roller machine to roll out raw materials to a specific thickness for further manufacturing.

    + Quality Check: Inspect final products, verify specifications, and sign off on each inspection step to ensure consistent quality for customer shipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, general labor, or general production.

    + Inspection skills to ensure product quality.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous manufacturing experience.

    + Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

    + Manufacturing quality experience is a plus.

    + Previous experience in garment production is a plus.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is casual, permitting jeans, slacks, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies. Steel-toed boots or sneakers are required for safety. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7am to 3:30pm. The facility is conveniently located on the bus line, ensuring easy access.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liverpool, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
