Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance. Your ability to read, interpret, and follow diagrams, blueprints, schematics, instructions, and operation manuals will be essential. You will maintain a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery, while also cleaning, repairing, and installing equipment and parts as needed. Operating a variety of hand and power tools and understanding how to use testing equipment, such as a multimeter, are key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.

+ Troubleshoot machinery and perform routine preventative maintenance.

+ Read, interpret, and follow diagrams, blueprints, schematics, instructions, and operation manuals.

+ Maintain a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.

+ Clean, repair, and install equipment and parts as needed.

+ Operate a variety of hand and power tools.

+ Understand and use testing equipment, such as a multimeter.

+ CIT, INT, or EAT certification (recommended)

+ Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP Business System (or equivalent)

+ Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for extended periods

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to act competently in emergencies

+ Prior diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance experience

+ Ability to follow manufacturers' specifications and directions

+ Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75275.00 - $77355.00/yr.
