**Pay Range:** $57.36 - $85.47 per hour

Summary:
The IT Project Lead is a hands-on, systems-minded leader within the Project Management Office (PMO) who balances portfolio health with delivery excellence. This role collaborates with the Director to oversee intake, prioritization, capacity planning, and standardized execution while partnering with department leaders and teams to ensure resources are utilized appropriately, governance is applied consistently, and value is delivered efficiently. The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, models ICARE values, and is comfortable shaping both process and platform (ServiceNow SPM) to meet enterprise needs. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Required Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of IT project management experience delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
2+ years leading projects, supervising PMs and analysts in project roles
Demonstrated experience establishing governance frameworks, standard templates, and stage-gate processes.
Proficiency with tools and reporting (e.g., ServiceNow SPM)
Strong facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills; ability to influence without authority.
Preferred Job Qualifications
PMP
Healthcare delivery or academic medical center experience.
Hands-on ServiceNow SPM configuration/reporting and portfolio/capacity dashboard development.

Responsibilities:
Partnering with Director to oversee PMO operations: set priorities, assign work, monitor portfolio health, and align capacity across teams; coach and develop PMs/analysts while modeling ICARE values.

Own portfolio intake/triage and prioritization.
•
Establish and continuously improve PMO governance (intake, demand scoring, stage gates, change control, risk/issue management) and facilitate escalation/decision forums.

Define project scope, milestones, budgets, success measures, and critical path; proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes through close.

Produce clear executive dashboards, status reports, and portfolio metrics; maintain data quality for accurate decision-making.

Partner with Director to create and maintain standardized templates, playbooks, and SOPs (charter, schedule, RIDAC, communications plan, lessons learned).

Coordinate internal resources and vendors.
•
Facilitate requirements with business and technical stakeholders; translate needs into actionable work items and backlogs.

Serve as a cross-department liaison to promote customer-service mindset, adoption of standards, and effective stakeholder engagement.

Configure and champion PMO tooling (e.g., ServiceNow SPM or equivalent) to support intake, capacity, reporting, and governance workflows.
