**Pay Range:** $102,315 - $154,315/year.
**Job Duties:** Rush University Medical Center seeks a Neuroimaging Engineer I in Chicago, IL to oversee a section of neuroimaging operations including neuroimaging data acquisition, quality control, processing, pipeline development, automation, documentation, and analysis. Exemplify the Rush mission, vision and values, and act in accordance with Rush policies and procedures. Design, implement, evaluate automated systems for state-of-the-art medical imaging data processing and quality control. Design, implement, evaluate and apply imaging statistics methods for image analysis. Oversee the work of Research Engineers and Research Bioengineers and provide mentoring and guidance. Collaborate with principal investigators on study design. Participate in meetings with principal investigators and research staff and evaluate/interpret data, methodologies, and procedures. Prepare abstracts, manuscripts, presentations based on experimental results. Support manuscript and grant-writing efforts. Communicate with other RADC teams on related projects. Apply advanced imaging, statistics and informatics methodology in all aspects of own work. Facilitate sharing of data and expertise with scientists within and outside of the RADC. Telecommuting permitted up to 5 days per week.
**Minimum Requirements:** Requires a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, or related field and 6 months of experience in post-doctoral neuroimaging. Must also have 6 months of experience in each of the following: 1) Neuroimaging with MRI; and 2) MRI modalities including functional MRI, diffusion imaging, MR brain morphometry, quantitative susceptibility mapping, susceptibility-weighted imaging, MR perfusion, and MR relaxometry.
