Job Title: CNC Mill Operator** **Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CNC Mill Operator to join our team on the 3rd shift. This role involves operating machinery in a clean and safety-oriented manufacturing environment. The position offers the opportunity for growth and skill development in the mill and lathe departments.

Responsibilities

+ Operate CNC machines, primarily involving the loading and unloading of machines.

+ Use manual tools such as micrometers and calipers for precision measurement.

+ Engage in grinding, buffing, cylindrical grinding, and precision machining.

+ Ensure attention to detail in the production process, especially if coming from a plastics setting.

+ Adhere to safety protocols and maintain excellent attendance.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting within the last 3-5 years.

+ Proficiency in reading micrometers and calipers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with CNC mill and lathe operations, automated and manual grinding.

+ Knowledge of Acme machines and experience with Sheffield gauges.

+ Familiarity with running Cincinnati and Norton machines.

+ Ability to work third shift and maintain precision in holding tolerances.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and safety-focused manufacturing environment. Our operations run on a 4-day, 10-hour schedule, with the 3rd shift from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday through Wednesday. Occasionally, shifts may adjust to meet production demands. The company prioritizes safety and attendance, offering a structured yet dynamic work setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Millington, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
