    Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk- $23/hr 1st shift

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic warehouse operations team in West Jefferson. This role is essential in supporting our production and distribution processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include pulling and packing orders, managing inventory, receiving materials, and ensuring accurate and timely shipments.

    Responsibilities

    + Accurately pick and pack products according to customer orders and specifications.

    + Use hand-scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to facilitate all pick, pack, and inventory actions.

    + Inspect merchandise for quality and accuracy before packing.

    + Prepare items for shipment, including proper packaging, labeling, and ensuring product safety during transit.

    + Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts as needed.

    + Prepare orders for loading onto trucks for delivery, following safety regulations.

    + Comply with all warehouse safety regulations and guidelines.

    + Collaborate with other warehouse staff to meet daily order fulfillment targets.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    Essential Skills

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Experience with supply chain, production floor, and working with quality control systems, preferably in a GMP/ISO/HACCP environment.

    + Excellent communication and documentation skills.

    + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

    + Proficient in typing and working on a computer.

    + Demonstrated ability to work under pressure.

    + Self-motivated and adaptable in a team environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + General labor experience in warehouse shipping.

    + Computer literacy.

    + Forklift operation skills.

    + Experience in warehouse inventory management.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Jefferson, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
