    Production Line Worker

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Production Line Worker. You will be responsible for adjusting, testing, and maintaining printing equipment, ensuring quality control, and addressing production issues.

    Responsibilities

    + Read job specifications and procure applicable tooling.

    + Set up machines according to job orders and specifications.

    + Conduct ongoing visual inspections for leaks and other issues.

    + Perform clearance procedures for shift changes.

    + Make machine adjustments to meet customer specifications.

    + Complete setup profile sheets for new jobs.

    + Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.

    + Report equipment malfunctions and material or safety issues to supervisors promptly.

    + Complete forms, documents, and quality measurements for each production run.

    + Perform line clearance procedures for product changes.

    + Comply with safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.

    + Undertake special projects and assignments as directed.

    + Observe machine operations and verify conformance to specifications.

    + Diagnose and repair minor mechanical failures.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, blueprint reading, and machine operating.

    + Proficient with calipers, hand tools, inspection procedures, and manufacturing processes.

    + Mechanically inclined with strong analytical and mathematical skills.

    + Proficient in verbal and written communication.

    + Experience with press brake, tape measure, and punch press.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a Lean Manufacturing Environment.

    + Previous experience in tube manufacturing.

    + Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence.

    + Effective communication in small groups and one-on-one settings.

    + Strong mathematical skills, including algebra and geometry.

    + Problem-solving skills and group facilitation abilities.

    + Ability to follow instructions in various formats and handle standardized problem situations.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilkes-Barre, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be

    subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits
