Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description

As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a vital role in managing the flow of materials within the warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving and unloading incoming materials, verifying shipment accuracy against purchase orders, and processing return shipments from customers. Your duties also include sorting, counting, packaging, and unpacking inbound and outbound materials, using handheld barcode scanners to complete necessary documentation. Additionally, you will prepare shipments for transport by selecting the most efficient shipping method, packing products safely, entering data for orders, loading and unloading trucks, and building pallets. You will maintain pallet racks and aisles, ensure compliance with safety regulations, band and wrap skids, make boxes, assist with inventory management, perform physical inventory counts, and provide support as a member of the warehouse team.

Responsibilities

+ Receive and unload incoming materials, verifying accuracy against purchase orders.

+ Sort, count, package, and unpack inbound and outbound materials.

+ Utilize handheld barcode scanners for documentation.

+ Prepare shipments, selecting efficient shipping methods and containers.

+ Load and unload trucks, and build pallets.

+ Maintain pallet racks and aisles, ensuring safety compliance.

+ Band and wrap skids, and construct boxes.

+ Assist with inventory management and perform physical inventory counts.

+ Provide support as a warehouse team member and keep the supervisor informed on key issues.

+ Complete other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in picking and material handling.

+ Proficiency with RF scanning.

+ Ability to pick orders, count inventory, sort products, and prepare orders for shipment.

+ Skills in building pallets, and banding and wrapping skids.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Competency in data entry and inventory counting.

+ Basic reading and math skills.

+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
