    **Position:** Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)

    **Setting** : Outpatient Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Vestibular, and Concussion

    **Status** : Full Time 40 hours

    This position is ideal for a licensed PTA with at least one year of outpatient orthopedic experience. Independent new graduates with relevant clinical rotations are welcome to apply.

     

    We treat a diverse population of teens through geriatrics with specialty services to include vestibular and concussion programs, in addition to general orthopedics and sports medicine.

     

    **Schedule:** Full-time, 40 hours, treating until 700PM twice a week. The last patient is scheduled an hour before close. Early days begin at 7:30 A.M.

    Responsibilities

    + Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

    + Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures

    + Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

    Qualifications

    + College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program

    + Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

    + Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)

    + CPR certification
