Job Description

Receives, stores, and delivers products, equipment and supplies to departments throughout the hospital. Prepares and processes inventory documentation.

Job Responsibility

+ * Participates in off-loading trucks, unpacking/uncrating items received, using necessary equipment

+ * Receives materials and verifies stock items according to established procedures.

+ * Utilizes proper storage distribution techniques: proper location, rotation, and identification of inventory items.

+ * Fills and delivers products, equipment and supplies to hospital departments, using Material Management System.

+ * Prepares and processes inventory documentation related to storage and distribution of supplies including stock issues, requisitions and inventory level reports.

+ * Maintains inventory levels in storeroom and at inventory locations throughout hospital.Replenishes low stock using Material Management System.

+ * Maintains a safe, clean and orderly work environment.Sweeps and mops storeroom floors.

+ * May perform minor repairs on hand trucks, pallet jacks, flat beds and shelves using hand tools.Reports necessary major repairs to management.

+ Performs related duties, as required.

Job Qualification

+ High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

+ Ability to transport heavy objects and operate hydraulic lift and other materials handling equipment, required.

+ Good organization and communication skills, required.

The salary range for this position is $25.454-$27.3746/hour
