Summary You will serve as a Painter Training Leader in the Production Resources Training Division of the Production Resources Department of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Responsibilities You will prepare and present courses related to the Painter trade for civilian and/or military personnel. You will serve as a Painter Training Leader for three or more painter trade personnel. You will prepare and conduct formal classroom trade theory instruction for basic and advanced trade knowledge to include the principles, concepts, terminology, processes, and practices of the trade. You will conduct, schedule, and/or coordinate classroom trade theory instruction for painter trade personnel. You will develop and administer formal and practical examinations that commensurate with the trade training plan objective. You will score and evaluate examinations. You will prepare lesson plans, visual aides, and obtain the necessary related training material. You will conduct formal instruction on trade equipment and material usage to develop good work habits, workmanship abilities, and proper safety precautions. You will prepare and maintain training records and reports.
