    Accountant

     

    We are seeking a Accountant with a strong analytical mindset to join our dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys tackling complex accounting challenges. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting critical business decisions.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

    + Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

    + Manage and execute month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for a new software implementation (prior UAT experience not required, but must be willing to be trained)(UAT testing OR Parallel Testing experience preferred).

    + Assist with process improvements and contribute to system enhancements.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).

    + Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.

    + Proven experience with:

    + Complex reconciliations

    + Variance analysis

    + Month-end close

    + Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with large ERP systems.

    + Excellent communication and collaboration skill

    This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
