    Job Description

    Cintas is currently seeking a Software Engineer – Level 2 for the Mobility team in IT. The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting .NET services and solutions that connect mobile frontends (Android, iOS, Web) with backend systems such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM. This role involves working on significant projects, collaborating with customers, Business Analysts, and team members to understand business requirements, and delivering high-quality technical solutions aligned with business and IT strategies, in compliance with organizational architectural standards. The Software Engineer will be involved in application analysis, design, development, integration, enhancement, and complex support issues.

    Skills/Qualifications

    Required:

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field required

    + Minimum 4 years of work experience in Information Technology, including professional experience with .NET/C# programming (including ASP.NET, .NET Core, .NET 8+)

    + Minimum 3 years of experience in each of the following:

    + Microsoft SQL Server

    + Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), including Azure App Services, Functions, Queues, and Service Bus

    + CI/CD and version control (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)

    + Data formats and protocols (OData v2/v4, XML, JSON, API versioning)

    + Monitoring and observability (Azure Insights, Log Analytics, Metrics, Alerts)

    + Security and API governance (OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting)

    + Minimum 2 years of experience in each of the following:

    + JavaScript and TypeScript programming

    + Document archival and retention (Perceptive Content, cloud-based retention poilicy setup)

    + Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform integrations

    + Minimum 1 year of experience with job scheduling and queues (Azure Functions or similar)

    Preferred:

    + Experience in the following:

    + Testing & Quality Assurance: Unit testing, integration testing, mocking frameworks (e.g., Moq), TDD, xUnit/NUnit/MSTest

    + Performance Optimization: Profiling, benchmarking, memory management, async programming, thread safety

    + Resilience & Fault Tolerance: Retry policies, circuit breakers, graceful degradation (e.g., Polly)

    + Database & Storage Integration: SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Azure Table Storage, Entity Framework Core, Dapper

    + Compliance & Governance: GDPR, HIPAA, audit logging, access control, role-based authorization

    + Documentation & Developer Experience: Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman collections, SDK generation, developer portals

    + Mobile Device Management (MDM): AirWatch, SOTI for enterprise mobile device enrollment and policy enforcement

    + Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
