**Exciting opportunity at MSK:** Join a world class radiology team at MSK Commack! As a **MRI Technologist** , you will support the **Radiology team** at our **Commack, NY outpatient location** . In this per diem role, you will perform advanced MRI imaging procedures with precision and compassion, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and diagnostic quality. Role Overview:

+ Perform a variety of Magnetic Resonance (M.R.) imaging procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity within an outpatient center.

+ Under the administrative direction of the Manager and under the clinical guidance of the Radiologist, perform a variety of MRI procedures while applying his/her technical ability independently.

+ Perform all examinations accurately, completely and efficiently, checking technical quality, and submits completed exams for physician to review.

+ Manage all aspects of the exam procedures to maximize exam efficiency while meeting patient needs.

+ Prepare accurate records and enters required data into information management system.

+ Maintain a neat, clean, safe environment, and performs quality control tests as assigned.

+ Treat those individuals (e.g., patient/family, client, center employee) who depend on the quality, accuracy and timeliness of the work as unique individuals in a respectful, courteous manner, and focuses on understanding and meeting their needs.

+ Work collaboratively with others to accomplish departmental and organizational goals.

Key Qualifications:

+ Requires degree from a 2 yr AMA approved Radiology school or a 1 yr MRI technologist program.

+ New York State license in Radiologic Technology.

+ ARRT registration (MRI) (R), and MRI certification (MR).

Additional Information:

+ Location: MSK Commack- 650 Commack Road, Commack, NY

+ Schedule: Per Diem as needed, Flexed shifts between 8am – 6pm, Saturdays (no less than 2 per month), Friday availability a plus.

+ Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Regional Radiology

Per Diem rate - $75 hour
