Principal Objective/Role Overview:
The Manager, People Relations, is responsible for continued development, and maintenance of Graham Windham’s employee performance management, objectives and key results (OKRs), and goal setting processes in accordance with its philosophy, guidelines, policies, and procedures. They provide coaching and consultation to employees and leaders on interpersonal, disciplinary and performance matters in accordance with the organization’s pillars, policies, collective bargaining agreement and governing locally, statewide and federally promulgated laws and regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
People Relations (80%):
+ Manages a proactive, data-informed strategy focused on ensuring a healthy, psychologically safe and lawful workplace climate.
+ Partners with the AVP of Human Resources on ensuring the consistent and fair application of the policies and practices outlined in Graham Windham’s Employee Handbook and in its collective bargaining agreement with the union.
+ Serves as HR representative during collective bargaining agreement negotiations.
+ Shepherds investigations by collaborating with colleagues in Human Resources on claims or allegations of harassment, discrimination & other workplace misconduct; provides timely analyses of each case and recommendations for any necessary follow-up actions.
+ Provides intervention, support and recommendations regarding employee discipline, performance issues, grievances initiated by employees and opportunities for recognition, rewards and incentives.
+ Implementation of Employee relations database inclusive of roll out, and training of all applicable staff
+ Providing continued guidance to managers and employees throughout the performance management and goal setting process.
+ Informational Trainings focused on people relations, and management
+ Ownership of Graham’s employee review processes

Qualifications
Position Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, or related field required + five (5) years of relevant experience.
+ Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR, HRCI, etc.) preferred
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
+ Excellent time management, organizational, relationship building, active listening, problem-solving and presentation skills.
+ Excellent analytic skills
+ Mastery of Microsoft office products WORD and EXCEL
+ Strong computer/technology skills including working knowledge of Human Resources Information Management (HRIS) systems.
+ Adaptable.
+ Ability to role model leadership behaviors under stress.
+ Ability to evaluate &interpret information and to make independent sound judgments/decisions.
Salary & Compensation:
+ Base Salary or Hourly Rate: $81,360.00 per year
+ FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
