    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Line Sales professional to drive growth for our Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) practice in the Bay Area. This individual will focus on consultative sales to leading technology companies, leveraging expertise in AI-driven automation and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    + **Sales Leadership:** Own and grow IPA-related revenue within assigned accounts in the Bay Area, focusing on high-tech clients.

    + **Consultative Selling:** Engage with senior stakeholders to position IPA solutions, including AI-driven automation, RPA platforms, and emerging agentic automation technologies.

    + **Account Management:** Mine and farm existing accounts to identify new opportunities; collaborate with delivery and consulting teams to ensure successful execution.

    + **Market Development:** Build strong relationships with technology companies in the Bay Area, understanding their automation and AI transformation needs.

    + **Solution Expertise:** Articulate value propositions for IPA offerings, including platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, and Microsoft Power Automate, as well as AI/ML-based automation solutions.

    + **Pipeline Management:** Drive end-to-end sales cycles, from opportunity identification to closure, ensuring alignment with revenue targets.

    Required Skills & Experience

    + **Domain Expertise:** Proven experience in selling IPA solutions, including RPA and AI-driven automation, to enterprise clients.

    + **Industry Focus:** Strong track record of selling to technology companies in the Bay Area (e.g., Google, Apple, Salesforce, etc.).

    + **Technical Knowledge:** Familiarity with automation platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) and AI technologies (AWS AI/ML, Azure AI, Agentic automation).

    + **Sales Acumen:** Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and achieve revenue goals.

    + **Communication:** Excellent presentation and negotiation skills; ability to engage C-level executives.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with consultative sales in digital transformation and automation.

    + Knowledge of emerging trends in AI, generative AI, and Intelligent automation.

    + Ability to work in a hybrid model with occasional travel within the Bay Area and to client sites.

    The annual salary for this position is between $160,000 - $180,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
