About the Role
As a Senior Manager – Manufacturing & Logistics Consulting, you will make an impact by leading business transformation and advisory services for manufacturing clients. You will be a valued member of the Manufacturing & Logistics team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients in the Greater Illinois/Indiana area.
In this role, you will:
+ Sell and lead business transformation for clients across the value chain – Sourcing & Procurement, Manufacturing through Distribution.
+ Provide strategic guidance and solutions to clients in the manufacturing industry.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver process improvements and operational excellence.
+ Develop and implement supply chain strategies, including inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics optimization.
+ Manage client relationships, ensuring successful project delivery.
Work Model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this position requires travel and a minimum of three days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Illinois. What You Must Have to Be Considered
+ 8+ years of consulting, professional services, sales, digital strategy development, advisory, or transformation programs operating in a client-facing capacity serving and leading external client engagements.
+ Extensive experience working in the manufacturing segment.
+ Excellent customer-facing capabilities, and an established track record for selling & delivering consulting engagements.
+ MBA or Master’s or advanced business degree preferred.
+ Travel required: Yes

These Will Help You Succeed
+ Deep expertise in serving industrial and process-oriented clients within the manufacturing sector and providing tailored solutions that address their specific needs.
+ Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies for clients.
+ Driving thought leadership agenda for the business unit including authoring white papers, workshops, webinars, etc.
+ Ensuring the appropriate alignment and collaboration of consulting teams and individuals to support project requirements and activities.
+ Exercising leadership in the development of consulting service offerings.
+ Leveraging collegial networks across Cognizant and external partners to innovate solutions or resolve issues.
+ Supporting and contributing to the establishment of thought leadership in the industry to promote Cognizant’s brand and drive additional opportunities. **Compensation**
+ $135,000-$160,000
+ This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. **Benefits**
