Description
The Manager, Media for Clinique (North America) will support the planning, execution, trafficking, and optimization of integrated media campaigns across national and retailer.
You’ll help ensure excellence in media activation and operational efficiency, while supporting strategic growth initiatives across priority retailers and platforms.
This is a fast-paced role ideal for a detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive media professional passionate about beauty, media innovation, and performance.
This role will have heavy oversee key financial operations and PO management processes in close partnership with the Consumer Engagement and Finance teams.
The ideal candidate combines media expertise, creativity, analytical problem solving
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Media Campaign + Partner Management
+ Assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of media campaigns for Clinique across:
+ National brand campaigns (across digital, video, social, and programmatic channels)
+ Retailer media campaigns (Ulta, Sephora, Nordstrom, Macy’s, etc.)
+ Partner with internal teams and external agencies to ensure accurate implementation and timely launches
+ Track campaign performance metrics in collaboration with analytics teams; support reporting and post-campaign summaries
Strategy & Execution
+ Manage the strategic approach and execution of paid media investment across in partnership with agency
+ Constantly track and analyze the relationship between paid and total business goals to identify opportunities for synergies and optimization
Financial & PO Process Management
+ Maintain organized documentation of national media spend (commitments, shifts, cuts)
+ Reconcile monthly/quarterly budget forecasts
+ Manage and track media budgets in coordination with Finance and cross-functional partners
+ Own all internal financial documents regarding paid medoa spend. Communicate with Brand, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams to understand any discrepancies, outstanding invoice payments, etc.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
+ Work closely with PR/Influencer, E-commerce, Creative, Category Marketing, Retail, and Analytics teams
+ Coordinate with agency and vendor partners to ensure flawless execution and alignment on campaign timelines and deliverables
+ Assist in cross-brand initiatives, media innovation projects, and test-and-learn pilots
Qualifications
• Agency experience highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in media planning, digital marketing, or campaign management either at brand or agency
• Strong Excel skills; experience with budget tracking tools and PO systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba) a plus
• Strong creative judgment for the brand and the ability to recognize engaging, on-brand content including visuals & copy
• Strong team player who works well in a highly integrated team model (internal + external) and fast-paced environment
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong work ethic, consistently going above and beyond to meet deadlines and achieve goals
• Clear and concise communicator, able to convey ideas effectively both in writing and verbally
• Motivated to take ownership of tasks and projects, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to stay organized, focused, and productive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
