    The Imaging Assistant plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is in at Union Health. The Imaging Services team consists of X-ray, CT, MRI, General Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology. As a member of the Union Health Imaging team, you will play an integral role by assuring that services are provided within professional standards and organizational policies to assist patients who lean on the Imaging Services team for answers.

    Imaging Assistant Details

    Essential Job Duties:

    + Adheres to standards, policies, statutes, regulations, ordering guides, protocols, processes, and established guidelines consistently.

    + Demonstrates continuous knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, anatomy, radiology examinations, and medical terminology.

    + Prioritizes patient privacy, confidentiality, and advocates for diverse patient needs while delivering unbiased, quality care.

    + Collaborates effectively within the healthcare team, maintains a positive and respectful demeanor, and handles tasks with flexibility and accountability.

    Position Details:

    + Full-time, 8-hour shifts-routinely 9a-5:30p with required flexibility in scheduled hours as needed

    + No routine weekend rotation-but flexibility required as department demands

    + No routine holiday rotation-subject to change

    + Potential for on-call rotation as department needs evolve

    + Prior experience in Imaging Assistant or similar role, medical terminology, and Imaging Services release of information preferred

    License/Certification:

    + High School Graduate
