Reporting to the SVP, Community Hospital Development, the **Director of Development** is responsible for managing the fundraising for the HMH Carrier Clinic facilities in Belle Mead and Mahwah and Retreat & Recovery at Ramapo Valley. The Director manages a portfolio of donors and prospects with a capacity to give $50,000 or more.
**Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required** :
+ Bachelor's Degree.
+ Minimum of seven (7) years professional experience in the development field.
+ Experience with major gifts and capital campaigns, including an established track record in closing gifts of $50,000 or more independently.
+ Experience in a healthcare environment, or a closely related field involving personal calls and relationship building.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.
**Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred** :
+ Experience working for a not-for-profit organization.
+ Experience working with Raiser's Edge and/or other fundraising/CRM management software.

Minimum rate of $124,571.20 Annually

Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
