What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.

+ Collaborate with local authorities and Allied Universal management as needed when incidents arise.

+ Maintain accurate and detailed logs and reports of daily activities and incidents as required by site-specific policies.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and addressing unauthorized individuals in accordance with site guidelines.

+ Support a welcoming environment for all visitors, employees, and contractors by providing information and assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
