    As a **Security Officer - Utilities Dispatch Specialist** in **Carmel, IN** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Dispatch Officer within a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. You will play a key role in managing access control and badge procedures. This is a driving position.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

    + Monitor and coordinate communication between field personnel, emergency responders, and site management to facilitate timely responses to incidents and critical situations.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

    + Maintain accurate records of calls, incidents, and dispatch activities as required by site policies.

    + Utilize communication equipment to dispatch security-related personnel and relay important information across the location.

    + Assist in managing access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as needed.

    + Support Allied Universal management and site leadership by maintaining awareness of ongoing activities and reporting any unusual circumstances.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Must be at least 21 years of age.

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

    + Must have 5 years of industrial security-related experience or 2 years of military, law enforcement, emergency medical technician, or fire department services experience.

    + Customer service experience is preferred.

    + Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
