    Summary

    The overall role of the Marketing Manager is to craft and implement market strategies & business plans, developing & launching product and packaging initiatives, manage projects, and develop & launch marketing initiatives. This role will report into the Senior Director Marketing. This role includes up to 25% travel and is based in Denver, CO. Relocation is available for qualified candidate.

     

    The salary range for this position is $84,000 - $126,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

     

    Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Data Analysis & Reporting

    + Own KPI tracking and insights: Collaborate with RGM and Category Management teams to monitor category and brand KPIs, maintain a strong point of view on category landscape changes, and translate trends into implications for the business.

    + Performance measurement & optimization: Build and refine activation measurement plans; evaluate performance against goals and recommend clear next steps (optimize, expand, stop, test).

    + Opportunity & issue identification: Proactively surface risks and opportunities and propose actions supported by data.

    + Strategic reporting for leadership: Produce monthly and/or quarterly business performance updates with concise insights, recommendations, timeline health, and risk mitigation plans—tailored for leadership decision-making.

    + Dashboarding and standardization: Improve reporting tools/templates to increase clarity, accuracy, and speed; document KPI definitions and reporting cadence. Engaging AI tools where business appropriate.

    + Own launch planning from brief to post-launch: Own launch timelines and workback plans for product launches/renovations, key marketing asset projects, and packaging development, including success metrics and after-action learnings.

    + Cross-functional leadership: Partner cross-functionally across Marketing, Sales, Ops, R&D, Finance, and external partners to drive alignment—facilitating timely decision-making, clarifying owners and next steps, and escalating blockers as needed to keep work moving.

    + Positioning and messaging development: Partner with internal stakeholders to translate product features into compelling benefits, positioning, and differentiated consumer relevant messaging.

    + Campaign execution oversight: Own creative/program execution (briefs, reviews, approvals) to ensure campaigns are on-brand, on-strategy, and delivered on time.

    + Develop high impact sales materials: Create and maintain marketing presentations and product/program materials that clearly articulate value proposition, competitive differentiation and activation plans, keeping the consumer at the forefront.

    + Partner with Sales for sell-in readiness & business reviews: Collaborate with Sales leadership to anticipate customer questions/objections and ensure materials support customer-specific needs. Regularly update Sales with program status, timelines, and key talking points so customer communication is accurate and consistent.

    Minimum Education

    Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in marketing, business, or a related field is required.

     

    Experience: 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally with CPG/food, brand/category marketing

     

    Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects (launches, campaigns, renovations, sales enablement) from concept through execution and post-analysis

    + Market Analysis: Ability to analyze and synthesize data and form logical conclusions. This involves understanding market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and performance in the marketplace.

    + Excellent Communication: Clear and effective oral and written communication skills. Associate must be able to convey ideas and information to different teams and stakeholders.

    + Strategic Thinking: Associate needs to think strategically to align their tasks with the overall marketing goals. This includes helping to develop strategies that improve product positioning and market presence.

    + Collaboration: Working well with cross-functional teams is key. Associate needs to coordinate and often lead cross functional teams to support product launches and initiatives.

    + Executional excellence: Associate needs to manage multiple deliverables concurrently while maintaining attention to detail, brand consistency, and being consumer focused.

    Tools & Software

    + Experience working with performance/market data sources (e.g., Nielsen, Circana/IRI, Mintel, Numerator or similar) to inform strategy and evaluate results. Must have ability to interpret data and build a story as it relates to marketing investments and consumer behaviors.

    + Must have experience and strong proficiency with Microsoft suite; primarily Excel and Powerpoint

    + Experience using AI tools to streamline work processes
