    Job Title: Blade/Motor Operator

    Job Description

    As a Blade/Motor Operator, you will operate a Motor Grader using a Total Station GPS System. Your primary tasks will include precise shaping and leveling of the earth to final grade, as well as scarifying, which involves breaking up and loosening dirt, mixing materials, and dressing slopes, shoulders, and embankments. Your expertise in operating on both rocky and standard earth terrain is essential. Can make upwards of $32 an hour and $830 a week in per diem.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate a Motor Grader using Total Station GPS System.

    + Shape and level earth to final grade with precision.

    + Scarify to break up and loosen dirt and mix materials.

    + Dress slopes, shoulders, and embankments.

    + Work on rocky and standard earth terrain.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as Motor Graders.

    + Experience in commercial and civil construction, grading, and earthwork.

    + Expertise in using Total Station and GPS Motor Grader systems.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + 3+ years of experience operating models such as CAT 140M-160M.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to operate on mass grading sites for projects ranging from 200k - 20 million yards of dirt.

    + Valid driver's license preferred, with the ability to be insured for operating company vehicles.

    + Experience in construction, site development, and mass grading.

    The work environment is a civil construction site located in open farmland in Lebanon, IN, subject to all weather conditions. Safety is paramount, with strict adherence to OSHA standards.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, IN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
