    Position Overview

    We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Estimator to support the development of accurate, comprehensive cost estimates for complex construction projects. You will leverage your technical understanding of building systems and industry best practices to produce precise, well‑supported estimates that guide critical project decisions.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    + Develop detailed estimates, including quantity take-offs, material pricing, labor costs, and equipment expenses

    + Define and quantify project scope, producing conceptual, budgetary, and construction-level cost estimates

    + Analyze historical data and create benchmarking reports to support consistency and accuracy

    + Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and stakeholders to align estimates with project objectives

     

    What We’re Looking For

     

    + 4+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction

    + Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

    + Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit is a plus

    + Strong understanding of civil, structural, and architectural systems (steel, concrete, foundations, facades, roofing, elevators)

    + Hands-on take-off experience and strong knowledge of NYC construction standards

    + Prior experience with cost consulting firms (e.g., Mace, Cumming Group, Turner & Townsend) is highly desirable

    This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
