    Job Description

    The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will perform a variety of clinical support tasks to assist providers in treating private patients in a very busy Manhattan Pediatric office. The workload involves approximately 150 patients. Our ideal candidate possesses a compassionate attitude coupled with an impeccable bedside manner and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist providers in treating private patients with various clinical support tasks.

    + Perform phlebotomy and lab tests efficiently.

    + Manage patient care and perform triage.

    + Record and update electronic medical records using eClinicalWorks.

    + Take and record patient vitals accurately.

    Essential Skills

    + Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.

    + At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

    + Phlebotomy skills.

    + Experience in pediatric care.

    + Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically eClinicalWorks.

    + Ability to work effectively under stress.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in a laboratory setting.

    + A compassionate attitude and impeccable bedside manner.

    Work Environment

    The work hours are from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with varying shifts. Weekend work is required on a rotational basis from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM on both Saturday and Sunday. The environment is a very busy pediatric office managing around 150 patients per day. Benefits include 2 weeks of PTO, medical, dental, and 401K, with the opportunity for overtime hours.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scarsdale, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
