Job Title: Civil/Structural Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-focused, knowledgeable, and professional Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong history in Structural or Civil Engineering with prior experience in large-scale projects. The key focus of this position is to design, build, and oversee building projects, ensuring cost efficiency and smooth operation within budget and deadlines. This role involves interaction with government agencies, engineering firms, and construction companies.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee the planning and execution of projects, including budgets, schedules, and resources.
+ Design, develop, and review technical building and infrastructure plans and drawings.
+ Supervise the on-site team, ensuring design and build concepts are followed.
+ Ensure proper maintenance and servicing schedules for the infrastructure.
+ Work with the project team to foresee and avoid potential obstacles during construction or planning phases.
+ Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
+ Provide project reports to executives and suggest cost-reducing procedures.
+ Identify risk elements and determine mitigation strategies.
+ Coordinate with the Civil Engineer of Record (EOR) regarding government agencies and permitting/inspection requirements.
+ Ensure projects comply with laws and regulations.
+ Analyze and solve technical and administrative issues.
Essential Skills
+ B.S. or Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field with a Professional Engineering (PE) certification.
+ 3+ years of in-depth understanding and practical experience with international building regulations and construction sequences.
+ Experience in designing, building, and overseeing building projects.
+ Knowledge of engineering principles, including land development, design, and construction.
+ Experience managing large construction projects.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with traffic engineering and flood control.
+ Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Ability to lead and supervise construction activities on-site.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of health and safety guidelines.
+ Strong problem-solving abilities.
+ Ability to prioritize time and workload efficiently.
Work Environment
This role is based in Phoenix, AZ, with a Monday to Friday schedule. The position requires on-site presence at our Phoenix facility and involves collaborative work with government agencies, engineering firms, and construction companies. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $147000.00/yr.
