Description We are looking for an experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will ensure adherence to regulatory, legal, and internal policies while supporting critical compliance programs. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment where you will contribute to the success of our defense software initiatives by managing compliance processes and driving organizational accountability.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough due diligence and screening of customers, vendors, and partners to ensure compliance with financial crime regulations and company policies.

• Perform sanctions screenings against global watchlists, such as those maintained by the UN, EU, and other organizations, escalating potential matches appropriately.

• Coordinate compliance inputs and oversee responses for RFPs, due diligence questionnaires, and customer inquiries.

• Develop and manage an enterprise-wide compliance learning program, including tracking participation and delivering engaging training sessions.

• Create dashboards and reports with key performance indicators to track trends and measure the effectiveness of compliance programs.

• Maintain compliance records and prepare detailed reports for leadership and regulatory bodies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that compliance processes align with organizational goals.

• Provide insights and recommendations to improve compliance frameworks and address emerging risks.

• Support audits and regulatory reviews by gathering and analyzing relevant compliance data. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in business, law, risk management, data analytics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, including sanctions screening and risk assessments.

• In-depth knowledge of global regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices.

• Proficiency with sanctions screening tools and familiarity with international watchlists.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.

• Experience in developing compliance metrics and reports, including proficiency in PowerBI or similar tools.

• Advanced skills in using compliance software, data analysis platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
