Job Description
We are looking for a **Project Manager** for a **full-time, remote** opportunity. This position will require travel up to 25%. As the Project Manager you will be responsible for managing solution implementation projects, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders, and identifying and mitigating risks to achieve project goals.
What You’ll Do
+ Manage execution of solution implementation projects in collaboration with State-employed Project Managers and solution vendors
+ Coordinate and collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery
+ Create a positive and productive environment that values cooperation, teamwork, and planning
+ Ensure effective and timely communication and information sharing among all stakeholders
+ Coordinate closely with other Project Managers across all projects
+ Gather updates from team members on project progress
+ Assess overall project health and performance
+ Draft weekly project status reports
+ Facilitate weekly project status meetings
+ Finalize and submit weekly project status reports
+ Identify potential risks and issues impacting project success
+ Facilitate risk and issue management meetings
+ Evaluate and escalate issues through appropriate internal project managers
+ Initiate timely and appropriate project communications across project teams
+ Manage access requests for staff through the designated State Privacy and Security Officer
+ Perform additional tasks as necessary to meet goals and objectives stated in the Statement of Work (SOW)
What You’ll Need
Required:
+ 4+ years of experience coordinating or managing Medicaid IT Projects such as a major system enhancement to an MMIS or implementation of an MMIS system
+ 5+ years of experience in project management
+ PMP certification
+ Demonstrated ability to identify, escalate, and resolve risks/issues proactively
+ Skilled in enforcing vendor compliance with contractual and quality standards
+ Strong collaboration and communication skills for coordinating across agencies and reporting to leadership
Physical Demands
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings
+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$115,000 - $135,000
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
