The Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Section of Pediatrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado, School of Medicine, has 1 Senior Instructor Faculty Position available for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The position is 1.0 FTE. We invite candidates with at least one (1) year of Ob-Gyn APP experience to become a part of our PAG team at the University of Colorado Anschutz and Children's Hospital. Successful candidates must demonstrate competency obtaining patient histories, physical examination, and the assessment and development of appropriate plans of care in the Ob-Gyn clinical setting. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication, both orally and in writing, with primary care providers, specialists, and team members to meet the comprehensive needs of patients. Specific duties/skills include, but are not limited to:
+ Provide gyn office procedures including IUD insertion/removal, Nexplanon insertion/removal, and endometrial and vulvar biopsies.
+ Inpatient duties as a member of the inpatient gynecology team and ED consultations team may develop.
+ Facilitate patient access to our outpatient network of care.
+ Participate in departmental meetings and committees.
+ Participate in research, as desired.

+ Active AMCB certification
+ Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Colorado
+ Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Colorado
+ Prescriptive authority required.
+ Must have Colorado licensures registered with DORA-Department of Regulatory Agencies by date of hire.
+ Three (3) or more years clinical experience in practice as an CNM in Obstetrical/Gynecological care
+ Demonstrate significant and measurable contributions in several of the following areas: clinical/programmatic development, advanced education, service, teaching, research, or scholarship.Nurse Practitioner
+ MSN required from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
+ Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Colorado
+ Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Colorado
+ Current NCC Certification
+ Prescriptive authority required.
+ Must have Colorado licensures registered with DORA-Department of Regulatory Agencies by date of hire.
+ Three (3) or more years clinical experience in practice as a NP in Obstetrical/Gynecological care
+ Demonstrate significant and measurable contributions in several of the following areas: clinical/programmatic development, advanced education, service, teaching, research, or scholarshipPhysician Assistant
+ MS required from an accredited Physician Assistant program
+ Current Physician Assistant licensure in the State of Colorado
+ Current NCCPA Certification
+ Prescriptive authority required
+ Must have Colorado licensures registered with DORA-Department of Regulatory Agencies by date of hire.
+ Three (3) or more years of experience in practice as a PA in Obstetrical/Gynecological care
+ Demonstrate significant and measurable contributions in several of the following areas: clinical/programmatic development, advanced education, service, teaching, research, or scholarship **Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience as a clinical educator
+ Utilize limited obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound skills
