Job Summary
Hourly Research Assistant
The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences has an opportunity for an hourly Research Assistant. Research in Radiology advances medical imaging technologies and therapies that range from modeling and image processing algorithms to new clinical applications.

Responsibilities
The Research Assistant works with the Radiology and Imaging Sciences Faculty Investigators and other Department research personnel on studies aligning with academic studies and experience in the areas of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science and other technologies. The Research Assistant plays a critical role in the conduct of the studies they support. The position is dynamic in that it involves working with multiple projects, lab functions, imaging development, testing and completion of associated tasks in accordance with lab protocols.
Minimum Qualifications
**EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT :** 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
