Job Summary:

We are seeking a strong leader to join our kitchen management team as Sous Chef. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Uphold Brazen standards; food & work environment

+ Collaborate with other Chefs on protein butchery, larder prep, and other prep items.

+ Inventory & ordering management

+ Ensure food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations

+ Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation

+ Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment

Qualifications:

+ Knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and health and safety rules

+ Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

+ Strong attention to detail and consistency

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills

+ Culinary training

Physical Requirements:

+ Ability to stand for extended periods

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

+ Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced environment
