Description
Human Resources Assistant-TEMP to PERMANENT (3 -6 month anticipated assignment)
HR Administration
+ Support HR department in the timely management and completion of administrative functions such as, but not limited to, verifications of employment (forms and letters), change of status forms, increase forms, and others as needed
+ Support the management and maintenance of employee personnel files (active and inactive), medical files, I9 forms, benefit files, electronic personnel files in the HRIS system, etc
+ Support team with the maintenance and updates to regulatory requirements for state and federal labor postings at all locations including LOA, DBL, PFL & FMLA
+ Manage the full employee lifecycle, onboarding, performance management & employee termination process
+ Oversees the Employee Referral process; tracks referrals, sends forms to employees for completion, sends payment paperwork to Payroll for processing
+ Maintains licensure records and runs monthly reports for expirations.
+ Coordinate payroll changes with HRIS system
+ Support HR in various projects, such as employee engagement initiatives or talent development programs
Orientation & Onboarding
+ Organize, coordinate & conduct new employee orientation to include prepping new hire materials, ensuring conference room(s) are booked, monitor the flow of orientation, support presenters in setting up presentations, etc
+ Enter new employees into HRIS system
+ Track new employee requirements on New Employee Log
+ Act as a resource to employees related to on-boarding throughout the orientation period
+ Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
+ High level of organization and detail
+ Possesses mathematical and analytical skills
