    Overview

     

    Job Purpose

     

    ICE Gas, Power, and NGL markets host trading of futures and options contracts across a variety of North American commodity markets. These products are traded on ICE Futures U.S. and cleared through ICE Clear Europe.

     

    The Senior Sales Analyst position will support the sales, marketing, and development of ICE’s Gas, Power, and NGL trading operations. The role focuses on growing transaction volumes in existing products and supporting the development of new products. The candidate will work closely with ICE’s North American Gas, Power, and NGL sales teams to build and maintain relationships, attract and retain business, and effectively communicate the ICE value proposition.

     

    This position plays an integral role in helping customers manage price risk across Gas, Power and NGL’s. Deliverables include thoughtful contract design and analytical and regulatory expertise in applicable policy and market structure.

    Responsibilities

    + Establish, build, and maintain relationships with key market participants.

    + Provide informed support to existing and prospective trading firms.

    + Modify existing contracts and design new ones to ensure a relevant product suite.

    + Analyze cash market structures to assess viability for new products.

    + Collaborate with the business development team to assist in launching new products.

    + Represent ICE externally to market participants, industry associations, and regulatory bodies.

    Knowledge and Experience

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; Master’s or professional degree is a plus.

    + 2+ years of experience in applicable markets or adjacent financial markets/fintech.

    + Proven relationship-building skills.

    + Familiarity with hedging and structured transactions.

    + Strong analytical and research skills.

    + Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple objectives under tight deadlines.

    + Exceptional communication and listening skills, with intellectual curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo.

    + Strong writing skills and marketing experience.

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    + Self-motivated and proactive team player.

     

    Schedule

     

    This role is based in Houston and requires travel to visit market participants and attend industry events.
