Job Overview

A local organization in the Dubuque area is seeking a dependable **Maintenance Worker** to assist with general maintenance and public works support. This role involves hands-on work both indoors and outdoors and supports a variety of projects throughout the year. Equipment operation is required as needed but is not a full-time operating position.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on facilities and infrastructure

+ Assist with seasonal work including snow removal, landscaping, and street maintenance

+ Operate equipment as needed (training provided)

+ Follow safety standards and properly use PPE at all times

+ Work collaboratively with team members to complete assigned tasks

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred

+ Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

+ Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills

+ Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills

+ Valid driver’s license required

Schedule:

+ Standard hours: **7:00 AM – 4:00 PM** (1-hour unpaid lunch)

+ **Rotating schedule:**

+ Week 1: Monday–Friday

+ Week 2: Monday, off Tuesday, then Wednesday–Saturday
